We Are The Change was founded in response to illegal dumping in San Bernardino, when community concerns went unanswered. What began with just three volunteers, led by Luis Ojeda, quickly grew into a movement of over 100 people organizing weekly cleanups and driving real change, prompting the city to respond within days. Established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2018, the organization now focuses on community beautification, civic engagement, and economic empowerment through initiatives like the San Bernardino Food Fest and local revitalization projects—continuing to inspire pride and lasting impact across the Inland Empire.
